NAIDA WEST

Well known author of local historical novels, Naida West will speak Saturday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Village Center at Eskaton Village in Placerville.

West mixes real and fictional characters to bring the past to life. As a former college instructor and lobbyist in Sacramento she has a long interest in and love for the local area.

West will discuss her research methods, and her California trilogy. Focusing on her newest award-winning book “Rest for the Wicked” she will read an excerpt set in the Shingle Springs Hard Rock gold mine.

The public is invited to this lively presentation. Refreshments will be served.
